TOLEDO, Ohio — A person is dead following an early morning shooting Sunday in south Toledo.
The investigation was focused on an area of a shopping center located at the corner of Hill Avenue and South Reynolds Road. The victim, identified by police as Denzel Herron, was shot around 3:45 a.m. Sunday.
Herron was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The shooting has been declared a homicide.
It is not yet known if there are any suspects or what may have led up to the shooting.
The incident is under investigation.
