TOLEDO, Ohio — A person was shot in east Toledo on Saturday night, according to Toledo police.
The shooting happened on Earl Street between McKinley Avenue and Butler Street near the Weiler homes around 9:45 p.m.
Police say an 18-year-old male was shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
There were at least seven evidence cones on the scene and police taped off an area outdoors where they were investigating.
There are no suspects in the shooting at this time.
