TPD: Person shot in east Toledo Tuesday

An adult male suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting outside near the Birmingham Terrace apartments, according to Toledo Police.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Police are investigating after a person was shot in east Toledo on Tuesday.

Just before 5 p.m., TPD responded to the Birmingham Terrace apartments on Consaul Street for reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, crews found Chaz Jackson, 39, suffering from at least three gunshot wounds.

He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to TPD.

Right now, there are no suspects in custody related to the incident as police continue to investigate.
