TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was hospitalized after they were shot in the foot in east Toledo late Monday night, according to police.
Toledo police WTOL 11 that someone knocked on the door of the victim's home on Arden Place, between Nevada Street and Starr Avenue, and then shot the victim when they answered the door.
The suspect fled the scene, according to police.
Police say the victim will recover.
