TOLEDO, Ohio — A victim was hospitalized with critical injuries after being shot in the head in west Toledo just before midnight, police told WTOL 11.
Toledo police said the victim, a 21-year-old, was involved in an altercation outside of the Palmer Gardens apartment complex by Douglas and Pelham roads before being shot.
Police say the area where the shooting happened is very dark and hope surveillance footage can help identify a suspect.
Police did not say any suspects are in custody.
