TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was taken to the hospital early Tuesday after they were shot multiple times at a south Toledo apartment complex, Toledo police said.
Officers responded to the Sandpiper apartments in the 5100 block of Ryan Road near Reynolds Road in south Toledo just after 2:30 a.m. In a police report, authorities said they located a victim in the hallway of the building suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police on scene, the victim, whom police described as a 22-year-old male, was shot multiple times, including in the face.

The victim was rushed to the hospital by life squad with serious injuries, police said. In a report, police said the victim was in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation. Police have not yet made any arrests in the shooting.
