Person shot near north Toledo bar

TOLEDO, Ohio — According to Toledo police, a shooting occurred near a north Toledo bar shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, June 16.

Authorities state the victim was shot in the 1800 block of North Michigan Street, near Korners Bar.

According to a Toledo police report, the 27-year-old victim, whose identify was not released, suffered a "critical injury." However, police said it was non-life threatening. 

The door of the bar was also struck by gunfire, police said. 

If you have any information, you are asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
