TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was shot in north Toledo shortly after midnight Thursday, according to Toledo police.
Officers responded to a 911 call about a person being shot and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound on the porch of an apartment on Huron Street by Locust Street after midnight.
The victim was alert, sitting up and talking while he was being put in an ambulance to be taken to the hospital. His injuries were non-life-threatening, according to a police report.
There are no suspects in custody, according to police at the scene.
