MONROE COUNTY, Michigan — A person was stabbed in Monroe County during a fight between coworkers Tuesday evening, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said they received a 911 call at approximately 6:30 p.m. from a business in the 7100 block of Crabb Road in Bedford Township. The caller reported there was an altercation between two males and one was stabbed.

MCSO said when they arrived at the scene, deputies found a 39-year-old employee with a "deep laceration" to his forearm. According to the sheriff's office, the suspect, also a 39-year-old, fled the scene before their arrival.
