TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after a 17-year-old was shot in north Toledo late Sunday afternoon.
TPD said they responded to the 3000 block of Stickney Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert around 5:34 p.m. and "observed suspicious circumstances."
They stopped a vehicle in the area and found a 17-year-old passenger in the car with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to police, multiple homes in the area of Stickney Avenue and Bronson Avenue were struck by gunfire, but no one was injured.
