Police: 2-year-old and adult shot in west Toledo

Toledo police say both victims were hospitalized and the child is in critical condition after the shooting on Mackow Drive in the Scott Park neighborhood.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police say a 2-year-old and 20-year-old man were shot in west Toledo Thursday night.

Both victims were hospitalized after the shooting and the child is in critical condition after being shot in the head, police at the scene on Mackow Drive in the Scott Park neighborhood told WTOL 11. Police said Friday the 20-year-old was shot in the leg.

Police responded to the scene around 10:45 p.m. and said no suspects were in custody as of 12:30 a.m. on Friday.

At least two vehicles were also struck in the shooting, according to police, and dozens of casings were seen scattered in the street on Mackow Drive.
