TOLEDO, Ohio — A 43-year-old woman was arrested after a police chase ended at a north Toledo store on Saturday evening.
The pursuit started in Monroe County just after 9 p.m., according to Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were able to locate a white Honda Accord that had allegedly been operating erratically on southbound I-75 near Nadeau Rd.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office began pursuing the vehicle near Laplaisance Rd. before the car fled into Ohio.
TPD officers joined in the pursuit with Monroe County Sheriffs once the suspect crossed the border and got off on the Alexis Rd. exit.
The vehicle initially was heading west before making a U-Turn near Enterprise Dr. and crashing into a patrol vehicle.
At that point the driver entered the Meijer store parking lot where a Monroe County Sheriff vehicle collided and brought it to a stop.
The suspect, 43-year-old Kizzy Williams, from West Bloomfield, was immediately arrested and detained.
The Accord was found to have been stolen out of Detroit.
The sheriff’s vehicle that ran into the Honda suffered light damage, including smashed headlights and front bumper.
No one was injured in the incident.
