TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a west Toledo convenience store early Wednesday.
According to a Toledo police report, officers responded to a 7-Eleven on West Bancroft Street at approximately 2 a.m. regarding an aggravated robbery. Police spoke with the victim, who said he left the store, got on his E-bike and was approached by a suspect dressed in black.
The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim to get off of his bike. The suspect also stole the victims wallet and cellphone before taking off with the E-bike. According to the report, the suspect was followed by a white SUV, described by police as an "accomplice". They fled eastbound on West Bancroft.
Police did not list any injuries in the report.
