TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department released a statement that confirmed the arrest of Jermaine Johnson, the Toledo man wanted for the murder of 14-year-old Terrance Green.
Jermaine Johnson, 24 and Makala Anderson, 26, were both accused of the Dec. 18 shooting that left the teen dead and two other teens injured.
According to the press release, TPD and the U.S. Marshals arrested Johnson in an apartment located on Eastgate Road in south Toledo on Thursday, Feb. 28. U.S. Marshals had previously put a $5K reward out for Johnson's capture.
Johnson was booked into Lucas County Jail Friday, March 1 where he will await his March 4 court date.
Johnson is being charged with two counts of aggravated premeditated murder, felonious assault with a weapon, improper handling of a firearm in a vehicle, criminal endangerment, negligent assault with a weapon and escape.
