TOLEDO, Ohio — Officers from the Toledo Police Department responded to the 700 block of Durango Drive on Friday, April 5 for a call of shots fired.
Upon further investigation, responding officers state that at least four different addresses had been struck by gunfire.
According to a TPD report, witnesses had seen the shooting suspects flee in vehicles before crashing the vehicles on Airport Highway and Colima Drive. Police said that all suspects then fled on foot following the accident.
WTOL 11 was told by investigators in scene that K-9 units had been dispatched in the surrounding area.
Emergency crews said that multiple shell casings were found on Kemper Avenue.
TPD reported no injuries following the incident. The identities of the suspects are currently unknown. No arrests have been made at this time.
