TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating a possible home intrusion in west Toledo that led to a shot fired early Tuesday.
According to a Toledo police report, crews responded to an apartment in the 1400 block of Brooke Park Drive at 1:21 a.m. after a resident claimed to have fired a shot a home intruder. Police located a round that traveled through a shared wall between the two apartments. The apartment the bullet landed in was unoccupied, police said.
Authorities are investigating the incident as a burglary and shooting. In the report, police did not state if there were any suspects in the incident.
