CAREY, Ohio — A suspect in the fatal Saturday night shooting of 42-year-old Nathan Stroub in Wyandot County turned himself about 10 minutes later, according to the Carey Police Department.
Samuel Seabert, 43, was detained, taken to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office and arrested on a homicide charge.
Police responded to a call concerning a shooting around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. Stroub's body was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds at the intersection of Lindenwood Place and Pine Tree Drive. He was later pronounced dead, police said.
The case is currently under investigation by the Wyandot Count Major Crimes Unit.
