Police are investigating after responding to several calls for shots fired at the intersection of Buckingham Street and N. Detroit Avenue in central Toledo Saturday.
Toledo police received a call from a man who said his residence in the 1600 block of Buckingham Avenue had been struck by gunfire at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Per a police report, the victim stated he heard multiple rounds of gunfire outside his residence, and one round came through his front window.
While crews were on the scene, a second person called and said several unknown suspects were shooting at him. Police said he did not provide officers with further information.
A third call came in shortly thereafter from two people who said their vehicle had been struck by gunfire multiple times, also at Buckingham and N. Detroit.
No injuries were reported as a result of these incidents. Police did not name any suspects.
