ATM stolen from central Toledo bank, Toledo police say

In a report, police confirmed an ATM had been stolen.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating the theft of an ATM from a central Toledo bank Monday. 

Toledo police responded to the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union, located in the 3000 block of Monroe Street, at approximately 4:30 a.m. regarding the incident. 

Officers on scene did not provide WTOL 11 with specific information. However, a Toledo police report later published confirmed an ATM had been stolen from the credit union. 

Police said in the report that witnesses told them a black pick-up truck had been seen fleeing the area. 

WTOL 11 crews also observed a forklift at the scene, as well as wires and machinery on the ground. It was not confirmed if the forklift was connected to the theft. 

No suspects were named in the police report. If you have information regarding this incident, police ask that you call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
