TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after an employee was assaulted during a robbery attempt at a west Toledo convenience store over the weekend.
Officers responded to a robbery call Saturday around 10:30 p.m. at the Stop & Go on West Alexis Road near the corner of Bennett Road.
When they arrived, a store employee told police that "two unknown suspects entered the store and assaulted her while stealing items" and "a third suspect remained at the door," according to reports.
The employee suffered minor, self-treatable injuries.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
