TOLEDO, Ohio — A man has been indicted after he allegedly shot at officers serving a no-knock warrant in south Toledo on Nov. 30.
The suspect, identified by police as 50-year-old Michael Guerin, shot at officers with the Toledo Police Department SWAT Unit while being served the warrant in the 840 block of Emerald Street, according to court documents.
Guerin fired shots from inside a residence at the officers while they were outside, police claim.
During the search, multiple bags of cocaine amounting to approximately 85 grams were discovered along with approximately 19 grams of fentanyl, officers said. Two milligrams of fentanyl is a potentially lethal dose, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency.
Officers also found multiple firearms, a digital scale and packaging materials.
Guerin was booked into the Lucas County Jail and is charged with felonious assault and aggravated trafficking of cocaine.
He was indicted on two counts of felonious assault in mid-December.
In late December, he was indicted for one count of trafficking a fentanyl-related compound, one count of trafficking cocaine, and one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
