TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County grand jury has indicted a teenager in the 2023 south Toledo shooting death of a 14-year-old.
Zammarion Candie was indicted on two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault for the death of Adrian Johnson.
Police arrested Candie in August of 2023.
Johnson died at a hospital in July of 2023 after the shooting on Heatherdowns Boulevard.
There were 44 homicides in Toledo in 2023. 12 of those victims were under the age of 18.
