TOLEDO, Ohio — A teen was taken to the hospital early Saturday after being shot at a north Toledo residence, according to a police report.
Toledo police responded to a home in the 200 block of East Lake Street shortly after midnight regarding a person shot. Officers located a 15-year-old victim who was outside on the porch when an unknown male suspect walked up and shot the victim in the hip, police said in the report.
The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. No arrests were made and police did not identify a suspect in the report.
This incident comes on top of a violent weekend during which two people, including a 16-year-old, were killed in separate shootings Sunday.
