TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo Fire & Rescue station was hit by gunfire at midnight on New Year's Day.
According to a police report, Fire Station 17, located at 1041 W. Central Ave. in central Toledo, was struck at midnight Saturday. A bullet entered the station through the roof.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
Toledo Fire Pvt. Sterling Rahe said the bullet came flying during a series of shots fired reports right at midnight.
