TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man who is accused of raping a child in December of last year has been arrested.
Lawrence Smith was indicted by a Lucas County Grand Jury on July 10 on one count of rape.
According to Lucas County Court of Common Pleas records, Smith is accused of raping a child under the age of 13 on Christmas of last year.
Records list Smith's address as being on Helene Court in west Toledo.
Smith was arrested on Friday and is being held in the Lucas County Jail.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
