Toledo police still searching for murder suspect in December homicide

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are still searching for a murder suspect one month after the homicide of 14-year-old Terrance Green.

Police issued an aggravated murder warrant for the arrest of Jermaine Johnson, 25. He is 6-feet, 1-inch tall, 220 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, according to authorities.

A Lucas County grand jury on Dec. 28 arraigned Johnson and 24-year-old Makala Anderson on aggravated murder charges for the north Toledo shooting that killed Terrance on Dec. 18. They were both also arraigned on the following charges: one count of murder, three counts of attempt to commit murder, four counts of felonious assault and one count of discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises.

Anderson pleaded not guilty to all charges on Jan. 8. Her next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Terrance, who was a freshman at Woodward High School, was found shot multiple times at the corner of Mulberry Street and Bronson Avenue and died from his injuries.
