Toledo police looking for 11th suspect in kidnapping, murder of teen boys

Ke'Marion Wilder and Kyshawn Pittman were found dead in a burned down house in December. Another suspect has been indicted for murder.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Another suspect was indicted Monday in the kidnapping and death of two Toledo teenagers, bringing the total number of suspects facing charges to 11.

According to the indictment, Garcia is believed to have participated "in the luring, assault and tying up (kidnapping) of the victim who was then transported to the 3000 block of Chase Street, where his murdered body was found in the rubble of a house that had been purposely set on fire and destroyed." He is not in custody as of 5 p.m. Monday and police are searching for him.

Garcia, 23, is charged with two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping. The bodies of Ke'Marion Wilder, 16, and Kyshawn Pittman, 15, were found Dec. 15 in the remains of a burned down house in north Toledo.

Both were missing for several days before their bodies were found.

The other people facing charges are:

  • Cruz Garcia: two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping, one count of obstructing justice, one count of having weapons while under disability and one count of trafficking in marijuana
  • Corbin Gingrich: two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping
  • Carrissa Eames: two counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping and one count of obstructing justice
  • Don Eames: two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping
  • Brent Kohlhoffer: two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping
  • Charles Walker: two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping
  • Crystal LaForge-Yingling: one count of obstructing justice
  • Diamond Rivera: one count of obstructing justice
  • Unnamed 17-year-old: two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping
  • Unnamed 14-year-old: two counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping and a pending charge of one count of obstructing justice  

WTOL 11 does not name minors charged with crimes unless they are charged as adults.
