TOLEDO, Ohio — An east Toledo woman has been charged with animal abuse.
According to court documents, Heather Myers locked her pit bull mix up in a kennel in her basement in February of 2018.
She allegedly left him there without food or water, and the dog eventually starved to death.
Myers was ordered to have no contact with animals and was given an SOR (Supervised Own Recognizance) bond, which means she must sign a form indicating she will appear in court until the case is complete.
