TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police made a forced entry into a west Toledo home early Wednesday after receiving a call of a woman being held against her will.

TPD responded to the home in the 1900 block of Berkshire Place around 2:15 a.m. after reports that a woman was being held at gunpoint. When crews arrived at the scene, they could hear screaming from inside the house, TPD said.

Officers announced themselves as police and forced the door open after they said no one responded. According to TPD, a person ran out of the back of the home when crews made entry.

It is not known if anyone is in custody related to the incident. According to a police report, no one was injured.
