Police: Multiple shots fired at homes in east Toledo neighborhood

Police say someone fired shots into homes near Genessee Street and Bogar Street.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Gunshots rang out in the Birmingham neighborhood of east Toledo on Saturday evening, according to Toledo police.

Multiple houses were struck by gunfire around 7:30 p.m. on Genessee Street near Bogar Street.

Multiple shell casings and police evidence markers were found along Genessee.

Police say no one was injured as a result of the shooting.

Police say no one was taken into custody for firing the shots and they did not provide a description of who might be responsible.
