TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are looking for the person who shot and killed a person in east Toledo.
The shooting happened around just after 1 a.m. on Forsythe Street between Woodville Road and Navarre Avenue.
Detectives at the scene told WTOL 11 they were notified about a ShotSpotter alert in the area. When police arrived at the scene, they found the victim, identified by police as Dennis Bohlen, 50, lying in the middle of the street with at least one gunshot wound.
First responders attempted CPR but the man died from his injuries.
TPD told WTOL 11 it's unclear at this time what led up to the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
The Lucas County Coroner's Office released the autopsy report Monday afternoon. Bohlen's cause of death was ruled multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was classified as homicide.
