TOLEDO, Ohio — A 17-year-old was shot outside a west Toledo business Saturday night.
Toledo police said they responded to the hospital for a victim who arrived with a gunshot wound. They determined that the victim was at a birthday party at the Allure Hookah Lounge at 2903 Dorr St. around 9:30 p.m. when they were shot in the upper leg in the parking lot.
According to Toledo police, a friend of the victim stated that an unknown person approached the victim and pulled a gun from a fanny pack. The victim was taken into surgery but is expected to recover, police said.
TPD said they responded to the location on Dorr Street and one shell casing was recovered.
