TOLEDO, Ohio — A man accused in the homicide of a 19-year-old has been indicted on multiple charges, including murder, court documents state.
Treshaun Whitlock, 25, was indicted Wednesday on two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault and one count of having weapons while under disability. Whitlock is accused of shooting and killing 19-year-old Najaye Owens in the head and chest on May 5, according to police.

Police said they located Owens in the garage of the residence in the 2100 block of Elm Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The injury proved to be fatal, and Owens was pronounced dead at the scene.
Whitlock was arrested on May 6 and charged with murder.
Owens' official cause and manner of death have not yet been released by the Lucas County Coroner's Office.
