Marshals seeking suspect wanted for sexual abuse of a minor, known to frequent east Toledo

Kevin Javon Jordan, 21, is wanted by authorities for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Jordan allegedly crawled through a bedroom window and committed the crime.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The United States Marshals Service is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted for committing a sex crime against a minor.

The suspect, 21-year-old Kevin Javon Jordan, is accused of crawling through a bedroom window and sexually abusing a child, according to a media release from the US Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on Tuesday.

Jordan is wanted by the Toledo Police Department for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The victim's exact age was not disclosed by authorities.

Jordan is described by authorities as male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 170 lbs. Jordan is believed to be in the Toledo area and is known to frequent the east side, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-492-6833 or to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can also submit a tip online at the US Marshals website.

You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
