Police responded to a call for shots fired in west Toledo on Saturday at approximately 9:15 p.m. They spoke with two residents who said they had been shot at while driving.
According to a Toledo police report, the two occupants of the vehicle said they were driving in the 4600 block of Overland Parkway when an unknown vehicle began following them and shooting at them. Gunfire struck several vehicles, but did not strike any buildings, police said. Neither victim was shot.
Police said the victims were not able to describe the suspects nor the vehicle that had followed them.
During the incident, the victims' vehicle crashed. One of the occupants sustained minor abrasions during the crash.
Police said they would continue to investigate.
