Person found with multiple gunshot wounds in north Toledo

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to Toledo police.

TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after being found in north Toledo Monday night.

The victim was alive when being taken to the hospital, Toledo police said at the scene. 

Police responded to the call around 11 p.m. and found the victim in a parking lot on Erie Street near the intersection with North Summit Street.

In a subsequent police report issued Tuesday, officers said the victim, a 34-year-old, was expected to survive. 

No suspects are in custody, police told WTOL 11.
