TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo woman pleaded guilty Friday in a 2022 double murder in central Toledo.
According to court documents, Camryn Chase, 23, withdrew her previous plea of not guilty and entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge of murder in the shooting deaths of 28-year-old Malinda Moore and 36-year-old Brent Roscoe.
Court documents show Chase faces two counts of complicity in commission of aggravated murder, one count of complicity in the commission of aggravated burglary, complicity in the commission of aggravated robbery and one count of obstructing justice.
Chase was arrested by Toledo police in February 2023 after Moore and Roscoe were found dead inside a home in the 2700 block of Albion Street in November 2022.
According to court documents, Chase is accused of being "involved in setting up the incident" that led to the murders. Court documents said witness statements and data from Chase's cellphone led to her alleged involvement.
Chase is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, July 15.
