Dozens of war heroes tour DC with Flag City Honor Flight

Dozens of war heroes will tour several monuments built in their honor this week.

Dozens of war heroes toured several monuments built in their honor this week.

The second Flag City Honor Flight left Tuesday morning from the Toledo Express Airport.

Seventy-nine veterans and their guardians made the journey to Washington D.C.

Honor Flight first began about 10 years ago, in order to make sure World War II veterans were able to see their new memorial in Washington D.C.

It's grown bigger over the years, expanding to surviving veterans of all our wars.
