OTTAWA HILLS, Ohio — Ottawa Hills Local Schools announced Wednesday the hiring of a new athletic director.
Pending board approval on May 1, Ryan Wronkowicz, the current assistant athletic director and sports information director at Lourdes University, will be the new athletic director at Ottawa Hills.
OHLS said Wronkowicz has spent the last 24 years in athletic leadership roles, including his current position at Lourdes.
He holds a master's degree in sport administration from Valparaiso University and a bachelor's degree in sport management from Bowling Green State University.
"I am thrilled to be joining 'Green Bear Nation.' I appreciate the opportunity that Dr. Fineske and Principal McMurray have entrusted me with to lead the athletic department," Wronkowicz said. "With a tradition of both academic and athletic excellence, Ottawa Hills has proven to be a leader in the state in both areas, and I am looking forward to joining the community and being a part of the continued success."
