FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - July is National Ice Cream month and one local ice cream shop is being recognized for their summertime treats.
Dietsch Brothers Ice Cream in Findlay was named one of the best ice cream shops in America by TripAdvisor.com.
Owner Tom Dietsch tells us the family-run shop was number two out of ten.
Mr. Dietsch says it was the first award of its kind that Dietsch's has ever received.
He also says he's not sure if it was the recognition or the holiday weekend, but he's happy to report great sales during the past few days.
The company website says Dietsch Brothers has been around since the 1920s.
The award was based on reviews and opinions of TripAdvisor travelers.
