TOLEDO (WTOL) - “Justice for Malachi,” is the message a local group demanded outside of the courthouse in downtown Toledo.
Malachi Barnes was just three years old when he was shot and killed while riding in the car with his father Anthony Barnes on Thanksgiving Day.
Anthony, who is still dealing with the loss, wants to be sure nothing like this happens again.
“You know, just put the guns down. It’s y biggest message, It affects us all,” he said.
A 17-year-old has been charged with complicity to murder in the case.
Anthony has mentioned before that he is convinced that there are more people responsible for Malachi;s death.
