OREGON, Ohio — It's a full weekend for Clay High School's graduating seniors.
First, Saturday morning at 11 a.m., about 150 seniors will be driven through Oregon in a senior parade.
Then on Sunday at 9 p.m.m Clay High School will hold a virtual graduation ceremony at the Sundance Kid Drive-In theater.
Each senior was given two tickets for the event.
The hope is the students can feel that even though they didn't get a proper graduation, their community can still give them a proper send off.
"We just to be sure that we didn't forget about our seniors, that we didn't push them off and we wanted them to be recognized somehow. And to still have some sort of ceremony," Clay High School Principal Jim Jurski said.
If you miss the ceremony on Sunday, the video will be posted on the Oregon City Schools YouTube page.
