Mercy Health's 'Ask the Expert' monthly series aims to educate people on health topics

The next meeting is on September 19 and will focus on diabetes and medication management.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Mercy Health is offering a unique monthly series to educate the public about health prosperity.

The 'Ask the Expert' series allows the public to ask an expert about health-related questions. It is designed to educate people in the hopes that they will make better health-related decisions.

The topic of the next meeting on September 19 is diabetes and medication management.

According to the American Diabetes Association, more than 1.2 million Americans are diagnosed with diabetes every year.

The event is online-only and is offered on the third Thursday of every month from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. It's accessible through a Zoom ID number or Phone number provided below:

Mercy Health plans to offer this series indefinitely as long as people want them.

The next zoom event will be held on Oct. 17 and the topic will be about environmental toxins and how they can affect our everyday life.
