Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge 2024: Meet the winners

Although everyone is a winner in the Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge, there's only one champion. Meet the finalists and our #1 for 2024!

TOLEDO, Ohio — After months of hard work and dedication, it's time to announce the finalists and crown a champion for the 2024 Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge.

While there are truly no losers when it comes to the challenge, there is only one champion each year who takes home the prize and the glory of the title.

Meet the 2024 Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge finalists and award winners:

5th place: Gary Reno

The 5th place finalist is Gary Reno, who lost 45.2 pounds, good for 15.12% of body weight. Gary was one of the top 20 last year. This is Gary's eighth year participating and he said the challenge is something he looks forward to every year.

4th place: Lori Cooke-Gearhart

In 4th place is Lori Cooke-Gearhart. Lori lost 28.2 pounds, for 15.95% of body weight.

3rd place: Ron Riffle

Third place goes to Ron Riffle. Ron lost 63.8 lbs, good for 17.86% of body weight. Ron is also one of the returners, having joined the competition in previous years.

2nd place: Nikki Orlowski

Finishing in 2nd is Nikki Orlowski. Nikki lost 39.4 pounds during this year's challenge, good for 21.77% of body weight. Nikki is a familiar face to the challenge and one of the moms we highlighted during the 2023 competition.

1st place: Zach Sullivan

The 2024 Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge Champion is Zach Sullivan. Zach lost an incredible 72 pounds or 23.12% of body weight.

In addition to bragging rights, Zach will take home $1,000.

Neil Heiden Cheerleader Award: Tracy Hansen

Tracy is part of Team Weight Watchers. Together, the group has conquered plenty of challenges and her support has helped them along the way.

Plus, Tracy has lost over 20 pounds since joining in October.

“I honestly wasn’t planning on losing any," Hansen said. "I just wanted to tone up. I joined to support my friends. Win-win."

Neil Heiden was the 2018 Super Fitness Weight Loss champion, who died in 2021. During the year he competed, he lost almost 125 pounds and encouraged everyone in the challenge. Tracy is the fourth person to receive this award.
