TOLEDO, Ohio — Our Super Fitness Weight Loss Challengers are dropping those pounds every month as we head to our finale in May.
It's not an obvious fitness tool, but a pencil can be a critical tool to help you get into some healthy habits because writing your goals can be key to accomplishing them.
Host Kelly Heidbreder suggested starting a fitness journal. Use it to make daily or weekly entries, detailing when you worked out, what meals you plan and what snacks you will pack for the week.
“By scheduling these kinds of things, you will start to form healthy habits," she said. "Also, it makes you feel more accountable to yourself to accomplish this schedule. You’ll do it because you wrote it down."
A journal makes it possible to reflect on your progress and helps you make goals for the coming week.
Participants in the Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge weigh In once a month and have workout opportunities together every week.
