TOLEDO, Ohio — After months of sweat and some tears, the Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge winner has been crowned.
Carrie Grindle lost 77.8 pounds, which is 35.5 percent of her body weight, to win the challenge, which began back in October.
Grindle won a trophy and a brand new treadmill to keep walking on the path of fitness success.
Rounding out the top five - and looking a lot LESS round - are:
Joe Sanchez, who lost 122.6 pounds for 31.3 percent of his body weight
Jeff Hess, who lost 66.2 pounds for 24.1 percent of his body weight
Patricia Romanowski, who lost 65.4 pounds for 25.2 percent of her body weight
Randy Tompkins, who lost 72.2 pounds for 22.7 percent of his body weight
The wild card winner was Jill Hall, who lost 47.8 pounds for 23.05 percent of her body weight.
Also weighing into the final tallies were extra credit points and challenge points that the competitors earned along the way.
