(WTOL) - Hunters in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan say they'll be on the lookout while out in the woods and fields.
A large-scale, week-long search turned up no word on the whereabouts of missing Michigan brothers Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton. The daily volunteer search has been put on hold while police review evidence and put together the next course of the investigation.
Hunters say they know the land better than anyone and will continue to look for clues or evidence.
"Especially your deep ditches, everybody watches deep ditches," said Terry Mavis with the Wiliams County Sportmen's Club. "Everybody knows where they're at and then most of the ponds. Everybody knows where they're at, so it's easier to go for a walk and check it out."
The Tri-County Sportsmen's Club in Saline, MI near Ann Arbor has a district meeting Tuesday night, and leaders say they'll urge hunters to look for anything that could help the investigation.
