TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - An investigation is underway into an assault at the Toledo Correctional Institution.
Prison spokeswoman Kimberly Henderson says the attack happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 14.
Henderson says an inmate has been taken to a hospital in Toledo for treatment. The Ohio State Patrol is on the scene investigating an inmate on inmate attack. There is no lock down at the north Toledo prison.
Injuries to the inmate do not appear life threatening.
