TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A jury convicted John Haugh of the murder of Thomas Przybysz on Friday. Haugh stabbed Przybysz to death in the driveway of Przybysz's Point Place home early on the morning of May 23, 2014.

Two other men, Scott Warrnka and Roy Cerveny, took plea deals in the murder before Haugh's trial began.

The prosecution used inmates as witnesses during the trial. The inmates testified that Haugh admitted to them that that he killed Przybysz.

Haugh's bike, which had blood on the handlebars, was admitted as evidence in the case.

Family members say Przybysz was coming home from his job when he was stabbed 15 times in his driveway. Prosecutors say Haugh and Przybysz got into a fight and when Haugh started to lose, he stabbed Przybysz.

"It shows, sort of, what kind of man we're dealing with here," said prosecuting attorney Charles McDonald. "This is a dangerous individual; obviously he's capable of horrible crimes and thankfully the witness came forward and testified."
