17-year-old injured in north Toledo shooting

The teen's injuries are non-life threatening

TOLEDO, Ohio — A 17-year-old is recovering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound after he was shot Tuesday evening around 6 p.m.

Toledo Police found the victim near the 3000 block of Chestnut Street.

The teen told authorities that the shooting happened near Streicher and Elm Street. 

He was transported and treated at a local hospital. 

There is no word on any suspects at this time.
